Bertha’s Café opened in 2005 by Beth Goldwater. Every holiday season Beth would be extremely busy supplying her family and friends with cheesecakes. This success helped her open Bertha’s café and soon found she had a knack for making some of the best tasting sandwiches. Some of her original creations including the asparagus panini, made with oven roasted asparagus, roasted red peppers, havarti cheese and Balsamic vinaigrette served on a cabiatta roll have become a local favorite.
In 2007 Beth won “best cheesecake in Phoenix” by the New time Publication. She has since received high accommodations for other creations such as her red velvet cupcake and her delectable brownies.
Bertha’s café has a delicious breakfast menu consisting of several different sandwiches served with oven baked eggs over easy.
